Skaha Lake Wave Cut Notch
Updated 20 Dec 2013
Along Skaha Lake, constant wave action has eroded the cliffs along the east side of the lake. The rocks are relatively soft White Lake formation sedimentary (congolmerate) rocks. The erosional feature is an example of a wave cut notch. Below the water level is a wave cut platform of the same material.
